Rusnacka sausage is used to be produced in the northeast of Slovakia. Quality pork is salted and left to rest in the cold. It is then ground and seasoned with garlic and spices. The sausage is stuffed into natural pork intestines. It is then cooked and smoked on dry beech wood.
